Book Review:
I have been waiting for Ryan to get his story! I’m not the least bit disappointed either. I’ve come to trust this series to bring all the feels, along with great characters, and some good laughs. Elsie is sassy and smart, with a deep affection for family…and Ryan. I enjoyed the feeling of unrequited love, though both had feelings for the other and let circumstances and misconceptions stand in their way. It was the best kind of angsty romance that had me shouting, “Kiss her already!” like that would solve all their problems. I loved reading through Ryan and Elsie’s complicated history and how they both want the same thing but are letting fear stand in their way. Fear is a huge motivator and The Rancher’s Secret Crush brings that to the forefront with grace and understanding through the characters’ perspectives. The comedy hit at just the right points to keep the story a bit light and on point with the heartwarming vibe. I received a copy of this book through JustRead Publicity Tours. I was not required to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
