This is the kind of book that builds up throughout the pages. It starts with a melancholy note dealing with grief and ends with hope and love. Cora is the type of character that needs time to heal and adjust to the constant upheaval in her life. She needs peace and rest and a home with family. All are things she’s never really had. On Moonberry Lake takes Cora on an adventure full of growth and learning to love the people in your life, even if they’re not the family you expected, they’re the family who’re needed. You’ll find a great cast of characters within these pages. I received a copy of this book through RevellReads. I was not required to leave a positive review.
