Book Review:
So, I completely fell in love with this book. I already knew I could trust Becky Wade to write an amazing novel, and she did not disappoint with Gen and Sam’s story. Gen’s recovery created a tangle of emotion, and adding the family mystery pushed me right to the edge of my seat.
Be ready to spend several hours with this book. You won’t want to leave for an instant. Sam’s farm is picturesque, and the slow romance between him and Gen is so sweet yet so difficult. Their past hurts and current lives will push them apart even as they ache to come together.
The transparency of Gen’s addiction and Sam’s reluctance to step back into that particular arena made for a refreshing twist on romance.
My favorite Becky Wade book yet, and likely my absolute favorite book of 2020.
I requested a copy of this book from Prism Book Tours. I was not required to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
I read the prequel novella, and I just knew the next book was gonna be about Sam=)
