Book Review:

This is one of those stories you’re meant to savor. Take a long look into Minerva’s life and see how she allowed hurt and maybe fear to cut her off from the world. Experience life in the mountain alongside this strong and fierce woman who refuses to break her word, despite the anger that builds deep in her heart. I enjoyed the slower pace of this book, and it was a marvel to watch her slowly come back to the world and find out that love is not gone and family is more than blood. Secrets stand between Minerva and Del, and this young man’s trip to her mountain home brings trouble neither expected. I received a copy of this book through RevellReads.
