Book Review:

Can I start out with an “awww”? Oh, wait. I just did. Seriously, though. I can’t resist books with cute kids or animals, so when you put the two together, I’m a goner. Add in the tension and suspense and you have a book that you’ll certainly read cover to cover, probably in one sitting. The romance between Charlotte and Dennis is sweet while being slow enough to feel genuine despite the incredibly short time frame the book is set in (being shot at and stuck spending all their time together definitely ramped up both the suspense and romance). I loved that Charlotte worked her way through her struggles with grace that showed her strength. I adored the ending, and I hope we see more of Dennis, Charlotte, Theo, and kid(s) in future books. I received a copy of this book from the author through JustRead Publicity Tours. I was not required to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
