Book Review:
Dana Mentink has done it again. A thrilling chase coupled with a knock-out romance.
A true enemies-to-lovers trope brings this story completely around while sending you out on a merry-go-round of emotion. Sergio and Helen are a dynamic couple and the suspense wrapping around them pushed both characters to step outside their comfort zone and confront their past.
Dana Mentink always leaves me guessing who the bad guy might be. Her detailed settings and skill for story creates books I can’t put down. She gently weaves in elements of faith while taking you on a heartfelt journey through life’s quagmires.
Guilt and blame are heavy burdens to bear and both can be found in Cold Case Connection. You’ll be hard pressed not to feel a connection with the characters. If you enjoy romantic suspense in any capacity, I recommend you check this one out.
I requested a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. I was not required to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

More from Dana
Cold Case Connection was really fun to write because it’s Helen’s story. She’s an intelligent, sensitive woman who is the sister to the men living on the Roughwater Ranch. Liam is her biological brother, but she’s just as close to Chad and Mitch who might as well be blood relatives. In this novel, Helen has to relive the worst moment of her teenage life, the night when a mysterious murder occurred during a teen prank. Helen is going to have to face the past in order to preserve her future. Cowboys, a case gone cold, a coastal ranch and a whole lot of danger…I hope you will enjoy the ride!
Looking forward to reading this one!
